About the work

The Kiss approaches intimacy through Katie Fishlock’s playful visual language. The title offers a direct point of entry through affection and bodily contact, while the printed image allows that moment to become something shared. Fishlock’s work brings emotional experience into accessible forms, leaving room for pleasure, humour and the different associations a familiar gesture can carry.
