About the work
One of three related works on paper by Kynobio, this abstraction belongs to a group built around shifting passages of blue, green and warmer accents. Pale areas allow the forms to separate and reconnect across the surface. Seen together, the three sheets encourage comparison between recurring colours and distinct arrangements, balancing the individuality of each composition with the rhythm of the group.
About the artist
Kynobio, also known as Kynobi, is an artist associated with Nottingham’s independent creative community and The Carousel. Working across individual and collaborative projects, the artist has contributed to murals with Zena Kay and to printmaking initiatives supporting The Carousel.
Projects at the Island Quarter’s outdoor gallery and within the Bridlesmith Gate mural programme bring this practice into shared urban spaces. The three works on paper in the Joseph Clark Collection offer a more intimate encounter with colour and abstract form.
